ABOUT ME
I'm a reporter-turned-copy editor and social media coordinator from St. Louis, Missouri. I know most people don't find copy editing exciting, but grammar and style are two of my greatest passions. My three favorite things in the world are dogs, dark chocolate peanut butter cups and naps; upon my graduation from the Missouri School of Journalism in May 2017, I plan to treat myself to one of each.

The Missouri School of Journalism instills strong journalistic ethics in all of its students, but I think that this is particularly important in copy editing, as en editor is tasked with asking questions and, sometimes, determining what is fit to print. This is my statement on the ethics of copy editing, and a story of how I have handled ethical dilemmas on the job.
